Private Party or Dealer: DealerThis 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 coupe has spent the last 27 years in California and now shows 54k miles. Finished in Signal Red over Barley leather, the car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. It features chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels, fog lights, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and heated front seats with power lumbar support. This XJ-S V12 coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with a service history summary, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
This example is finished in Signal Red (CFC) and is equipped with fog lights. The rear plate bulbs and the power antenna mast were replaced in March 2026, and the selling dealer notes tape residue at the top of the windshield and the rear of the hood, a scrape on the right rear quarter panel, and dings around the body
Chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels were mounted with Yokohama Avid Ascend tires in 2017. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The cabin is trimmed in Barley leather along with wood veneer accents, and it features heated front seats with power-lumbar support, automatic climate control, a trip computer, and a cassette stereo. A set of later-model center vents has been installed, and the left door lock actuator has been replaced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 54k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed, and the throttle linkage bushings were replaced in March 2026. The car was designated a gross polluter in California in September 2007 and October 2017, and it most recently passed a California emissions test in March 2026. A summary of the car’s service history dating back to September 2007 is included.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
