Car on ebay 8/26
1990 Jaguar XJS Koenig Specials V12 Convertible
Seller klh20072007-2008
Opening bid $30,000 no bids ends in 6 days, $45,000 Buy It Now
Monroeville, Alabama
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) SAJNW4841LC16
This is a one of 2 Koenig Specials convertable V12. only 2 world wide. The White one is in Germany at moment.
This car was Originally owned by Mark Moore of the Team Moore Racing.
Was ordered new to him. I have the relevant documents to prove this. I am the third owner.
This car is all original from the day it was shipped. I have a complete new ignition kit ordered from England and will be performing a complete tune up as soon as parts arrive.
This vehicle was built to TMR racing specs. It has tall gears and is a 3 speed. It handles like nothing ever I have ever driven. The only way to describe it. It's a race car. If I was an Indy car driver, I would absolutely want to drive this.
This car comes with its flaws. The Fiber glass is separating from the body. That is why it is selling for the price it is. I am selling it for a price that leaves equity on the table even after a body job. interior is flawless. never smoked in. The wood right below shifter is starting to show light clear coat cracking. all other wood trims are in excellent condition.
As mentioned it needs a tune up. All new ignition parts are on the way and will be performing it's service in next couple weeks. if you buy it before tune up is complete. we can negotiate price. if you buy it and want the service completed. That is of no issue.
The tires are out of date and would need a fresh set for it to be right. they are holding air and it could drive. But they are beginning to show signs of cracking. it just needs tires.
I have all paper work issued from jaguar on day of sale but the sale sheet. This was immediately redone to Koenig kit from Koenig on day one via TMR to TMR spec.
I firmly believe TMR had this conversion done to their desired performance spec.
It will throw you in the seat and chirp tires shifting from 1-2 at 60 Mph and at 90 2-3.
varies how you drive it... lol.
seeing that the Body does need over haul. I will negotiate.
We can be realistic. But due be aware this is the only other Jaguar XJS V12 Konieg Specials convertable on this side of the planet. located in Alabama.
It only has 28k miles and mechanicly, interior, is in like new condition. still smells like new leather. not one crack or rip in any of the interior.
Motor and transmission is like new. Again, will come with a full tune up and fluids. Or all the parts for yourself.
This is a 35 year old car and may come with its issues. Other than a tune up. The drive line is solid. Bearings. Bushings, shocks are all A1.
This car is sold under a antique bill of sale. no title. Alabama does not issue titles on Antique status vehicles.
Vin is clear. No liens
If you want a rare piece of history for a low investment with a low investment to get it back to show room condition and have plenty equity on the table. This car is for you.
I will have to pay a substantial sellers fee for this vehicle so negotiations have to be realistic. this car with a paint and body job will bring this car back to $100,000 value.
So I am selling it to allow the buyer financial room after your repair.
In all reality, I am leaving 35-45% value in equity on the table.
You are bidding on a used antique status vehicle. Car is sold As is, no refunds. If you are buying this car, you are aware of what this car is and the care it will need.
I hope to whoever buys this car. You get years of enjoyment and win some trophies. Keep me updated. Maybe we even make friends. I would love to see this beauty get the love she needs.
I am no longer financially able to care for such a rare race car. This car deserves a better home.
I will do what ever I can to accommodate you. Send an inspector or bring a low boy car trailer. this Car needs low ground flat bed for transport. Do not send a normal tow truck. it must be a flat bed that can tilt very low to ground.
The front fiber glass spoiler has already taken a beating.
let not mess it up any further.....
The tail light lens was cracked by a lawn mower.... All it needs is a lens.

This is my car! it is listed on FaceBook, and Ebay. My name is Stephan. if any one tries to sell you this car other than me the true owner. Stephan in Alabama. Alert your authorities. I have been approached by several scammers here US side. I am honestly just trying to find this car a better home. I had a fake rich guy By Arthur C Obrien stall me out for 60 days with every excuse under the sun in getting my money to me. I caught him Misrepresenting other peoples classic cars. Spoke to people in his neighborhood in Wellington Fl. Was told to avoid him at all costs! I am only listing this here so if any one searches this vin or is approached by a "Broker". RUN! I had to go as far to alerting law enforcement to double make sure no one tries to illegally broker this car. I have insured it protection. No one at this moment has any authority to sell this car but me.This is a private sale by me via my wifes Market Place on FB, and ebay. Reach out via Ebay Messages on my listing if you want: eBay item number:227489679455 or www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1578338580457315/, lastly
( Stephans8408@aol.com ). Please insure you are speaking directly to me via these channels.
Apologies if this offends anyone. I needed to get that out as I fear people or someone may or was trying to illegally broker my car with out my permission. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
I just want this rare beauty to get to the right person that has the finances to take care of it and preserve this rare piece of art. I have recently fallen on bad times and I do not want my economic position to further hurt the car. I bought it with the signs of cracking body panels. I kept it inside for 7 of the 8 years I have owned it. Or abouts. I keep tarps over it. I wash and speed wax it frequently. The humidity in south AL is stifling and is not helping the car.....
I have owned 27 Jaguars and am known as The Jagman in my area. I appreciate these vehicles with passion. I am embarrassed that this poor cat has been been suffering. I hope some one out there is serious and can save this poor cat. I am doing all I can to keep her alive.
I am flexible and willing to negotiate. Im ez to work with.
Thank you all for seeing my car. God Bless and Cheers to you all.
