Ebay item 6/24/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wide-Body-Rolly-Fernandez-Jaguar-XJS-GT-Concept-LT1-V8-/ ...
Current bid $1,000 reserve not met 4 bids 5 days left in auction. 55k miles.

Sellers description:
One of a kind Custom Jaguar XJS GT Coupe Seamless Wide Body 1 Piece Build. Built for Andre Dawson MLB Hall Of Fame Player. Rolly Fernandez Custom Build From late 80's. Estimated over 95,000 Spent on this Fully Customized Coupe. Sold at Auction in 2007 for 28,000.00 by Carolina Custom Cars. Current Owner had drivetrain converted to GM, LT1 Impala Motor , Painless Wire Harness 90% Complete. Deep Dish Custom Aluminum Wheels and Tires. Beautiful Interior that needs nothing. High Dollar Stereo System with amps, in floor speakers, CD player. $1,800.00 GT Steering Wheel. I have since taking the pictures had new Beautiful Limo Grade Red Carpeting installed , Put the Tan Seats with dark piping back in the car and cleaned the interior, it was dirty from setting in the pics , Imaculate wood trim and dash with no cracks. Interior is true gem. No work needed inside. This car needs some fiberglass cracks repaired , final wiring and gauge calibration. No cracks in glass , Pictures show some spots on the car , it is tree sap that can be removed. Currently it does turn over with the key. Needs someone familiar with V8 GM jaguar Conversions. Everything is there. Low reserve, only a fraction of what has been spent on this car.

Currently the Car turns over freely , will start using starting fluid , has new fuel pump, starter , fuel pressure regulator , air intake system , battery and other parts I have put on the car. I do not have the time to continue the restoration project on the Jaguar. Looking for that right buyer to respect the masive amount of money invested in this custom ride who wants to spend a few thousand dollars and finish brining it back to the Elite Custom Ride it once was.

Rolly Fernandez built the 6 wheel camaro in the 80's , was the original pimp my ride "man" on the east coast back in the day. Car does not run and drive but the engine is turing freely and does not need rebuilt , just trouble shooting and completion of the GM V8 Swap. Engine is 96 Impala SS that was purchased for a cost of 2,000 on ebay during the initial stages of this swap. Again needs some fiberglass repair from setting and then a Nice paint Job to make the car a show winner. Story tells of many many trophies won for this Elite Custom Designed Jaguar. No junk here, a car with major potential and illustrious history as a Car of the rich and famous.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
