Bought this years ago with the intention of making it my daily driver. I love the way it accelerates, and how smoothly it handles, but I have moved on to other things now and need the space so down the road it goes.

The car has had alot done to it by a certified foreign automobile service center including:

- new front end subframe
- new brake pads and rotors
- all new gaskets, seals and freeze plugs (while the engine was out for the subframe replacement)
- new coil and booster coil
- new tires
- AM/FM CD stereo and (4) 4.5" Magnum speakers
- Car cover
- Includes a Haynes Tech Book
- A four (4) volume set of Manufacturer Service manuals

As you can tell I have taken care and great expense to get out all the bugs. This is the Hess & Eisenhardt edition XJS, which means there were some enhancements in the suspension as well as the power plant for higher performance. The car purrs like a kitten, but still bites like the big cat it is.

This is a nearly complete restoration project. In the ten years I've owned it I have rebuilt the engine, replaced the brakes, battery, shocks, tires, exhaust. A complete front sub-frame and new ball joints, upper and lower. The car is fast, and responsive. It handles great and gets approximately 19 mpg city and 26 mpg hwy. All it needs is a new headliner and a rear window seal, original doesn't leak but is cracked and dried out. There is very minimal work left to do on this and it is a good daily driver. I need the room in the garage and money for other projects, so it is priced lower than the book value to sell quickly. It comes with a set of 4 manufacturers repair manuals as shown in the pictures. The H.E. stands for Hess & Eisenhardt, it was an available upgrade to the suspension and power plant design.
