Huge history back to the late 90s

Subject to an extensive restoration in 2008
Attractive exterior and interior colour / trim combination
Desirable V12 engined version
We are delighted to bring to market this very original Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe finished in Solent blue with Doeskin leather interior - a super colour / trim combination. The bodywork is in great condition overall with only a few signs of wear and age. It appears from the file that the Jaguar was the subject of much work in 2008 and this would to some extent explain its wonderful overall condition.
The Heritage Certificate tells us the XJS was manufactured between the 8th and 14th July 1992 and dispatched on the 15th July, in time for its registration on the 1st August 1992 - a time when the 1st day of August was something very special!
The Jaguar has had only five owners in its life - the last two being father and son who have owned it since 1999. Paperwork goes back to the late 90s and this evidences how well the Jaguar has been looked after. The paper trail should also be read alongside the stamped service book that contains 19 stamps, the majority of these being Jaguar main dealers. The paperwork is so extensive that it is split into 2x binders.
The cross-spoke alloys are in good condition with matching Pirelli tyres all round. The front fog lamps are fitted with covers, rear mud flaps feature, and there are some spare parts in the boot together with a Jaguar sports bag.
The interior is very clean and tidy. The headliner is good although the centre console is a little worn.
The MOT history shows that it has been used very lightly over the last few years only covering approximately 3,000 miles in the last 10 years or so. Talking of MOTs, we have certificates back to 1998 when the mileage was showing as 54,820 miles.
The owner has maintained the Jaguar himself since he inherited it from his dad in 2016 and undertaken the service work as necessary. He has informed us the XJ-S is kept in a heated garage, and he has never driven it on salted roads - another sign of a looked after example.
In addition to the aforementioned documents and history, it also comes with a spare Pirelli tyre.
The Jaguar behaved as it should for our filming video - no warning lights were present.
Overall, a great example of Jaguar’s flagship car from the 80s and 90s.
