For Sale on eBay UK on October 04, 2015. Asking UKL 6,250 with 118,124 miles.

1985 JAGUAR XJ-SC 3.6 MANUAL, RARE AND CLASSIC CABRIOLET T-BAR. A FAST, ECONOMICAL, AND RELIABLE CLASSIC JAGUAR. 4 Previous Owners. I have owned this Jaguar for nearly 20 years, but reluctantly she has to go. This is a really great car, very lively and such a good car to drive. Like the one featured in classic car weekly on 26 August this year. 141 MPH top speed , 0-60 in 7.4 secs with 228 bhp. I have taken her down to Le Mans, and also to the south of Spain and also the Nurberg ring. She never gave me any problems. Very good on fuel too. She has the bullet proof 24-valve 6-cylinder engine and the getrag 5- speed gearbox. She has been in dry storage for a few years now because the clutch started to slip. I have just got her re-commisioned and had a new clutch fitted and she will come with a new MOT. The body is very tidy and sound considering the age with only very minor blemishes. The interior is original and starting to show its age but still very acceptable. The floors, sills, and under side are totally solid. The exhaust system is stainless steel so no problems there. Good Pirelli tyres all round. All in all a very sound classic Jaguar and I will be sad to see her go. Grab yourself a bargain.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
