This 1991 Jaguar XJ-S 2+2 Classic Collection coupe shows 42k miles following registration history in New York, and it was purchased by its current owner in September 2011. Classic Collection-specific appointments include quad headlights, a gold-color hood badge, 15″ basketweave wheels, and contrasting piping on the seating surfaces. It is finished in Oyster over Doeskin leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes fog lights, heated front sport seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This XJ-S coupe is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The car is finished in Oyster with two-tone pinstriping and features quad headlights, fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, Classic Collection badging, and a telescoping antenna.

The 15″ basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P600 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brakes were overhauled in November 2018, and additional work at that time included rebuilding the power steering rack, repacking wheel bearings, and replacing the front sway bar bushings and links.

The cabin features heated front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Doeskin leather with contrasting piping. Interior amenities include a cassette stereo, cruise control, a dash cover, and power windows. The air conditioning compressor was replaced and the system was converted to R134 refrigerant in November 2018. The driver’s door panel was repaired in December 2018.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The 7k-rpm tachometer was replaced in December 2018. The six-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Work performed between August 2018 and July 2019 included repairing the coolant expansion tank and replacing fuel injectors, hoses, and belts as well as the valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, spark plugs, and distributor cap and rotor arm.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The transmission pan was resealed and the transmission mount bushing was replaced in November 2018.
