Ebay item 10/18/18

www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Jaguar-XJS/253938378035

Starting bid: $7,995 no bids no reserve, 6 days left in auction, seller euroasianauto_com, 102k miles, car now said to be in Wichita, Kansas.

Seller's description: Have a look at this absolutely beautiful 1995 Jaguar XJS coupe. This is a very desirable year of the XJS at it is the end of the line where they worked out all of the kinks out of its very long run and went back with the 4.0 inline 6 cylinder engine instead of the troublesome and high maintenance V-12. It is the classic British racing green with tan interior color combo. This Jag runs and drives like a dream! It feels like a new car going down the road. It is in fantastic condition inside and out. This is a two owner car that shows zero accidents on Carfax. Driving this car is an experience that is hard to describe. It is smooth and solid it has to be driven to be believed. They just do not make them like this anymore. The XJS body style is one of the most recognizable shapes in history. It is unmistakable for anything else going down the road. I also have a huge folder of receipts and maintenance records for its entire life.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
