Excellent original example of a facelift model XJS convertible. Has been exceptionally well maintained and runs and drives like it was brand new. Underhood looks as though it came off the showroom floor last week. Engine is tight and runs perfect, does not use any oil at all and has no leaks at all. Steering and handling are like new. Shocks were upgraded to Bilstens in 2006. Interior is well above average with only a small amount of rutine wear showing on the drivers seat. Top is in great shape and works perfectly. Car came with every available option and everything is still known to work properly. The car has never been wrecked and all numbers match but due to some clear coat peeling part of it was repainted in 2001. The paint did not get matched perfectly and that's about the cars only real flaw. It has been used as a daily driver so shows some rutine minor parking lot dings on the body and one small scuff on the front right fender where a bike fell over into it in 2004, it was poped out by Dent Doctor in Los Angels but you can still see where it was. With a all over paint job and having the minor dings fixed at the same time it would be a near-perfect example. In late 2007 it made a 3,800 mile round trip while on vacation and performed absolutly flawlessly and averaged 23+ MPG over most of the trip and only dropped to around 20 MPG in the mountains of Colorado. In the city it averages about 18 MPG. Car still has all of the original paperwork and manuals plus all of the original keys.

Ebay item 6/8/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1994-Jaguar-XJS/254619583367
Opening bid US $3,500 no bids no reserve, 6 days left in auction, seller suncoastpgi2012, 124k miles, car now said to be in Ozark, MO, previously Batesville, Arkansas.
Seller's description:
Jaguar XJS . Condition is Used. You get 2 cars for the price of the convertible. Both cars run, the convertible is a running driving car. It's not perfect and can use some work, but the price reflects this. The coupe needs some work to get it to run properly. You can just drive the convertible, or go through it to bring it back to new condition. The coupe is clean for a 34 year old car, not perfect, but a great base to start with. Either would make great conversions. Pull the drive tranes out, sell them and have the cars for free. These are beginning to come back on prices, as the e-types have all gone through the roof, and these are the next in line to appreciate in value. They are beginning to get a bit scarce, so now might be the time to get them. If you've always wanted a convertible XJS, but figured they were way too expensive, then this might just be the deal for you!
