1994 Jaguar XJS 60,000 Mile Convertible in Stunning Oyster (silvery-gold) with Barley Leather Interior! Some people refer to Oyster as 'Champagne' though there were 3 different colors that Jaguar offered that are similar. This is the color in all the Jaguar literature of 1994, and interestingly, also the color that Princess Diana picked for her Jaguar XJS convertible (they are almost the exact same - except the LHD).

This has been a well kept car. It really shows. The interior has not been replaced with new seats, but take a look a just how good the driver's seat is. 'New' aftermarket leather never truly matches the color of the rest of the interior, neither in quality or color. The engine bay looks freshly detailed, but hasn't been. Same with the trunk.

The paint is original. There are some spots and scratches in it... please try to remember the car isn't new.

I have most of the documented history. Records that I have show as 4 owners: myself and 1 other family... grandmother who purchased the car, neuro-surgeon son who drove it mostly, then nephew when his grandparents passed. It has always been here in AZ. And YES! it does make a difference. A friend just purchased a 1996 in Las Vegas, but it had come from the north and had rust in unusual places. If you know about how these cars are constructed, getting a good, dry southwest (Arizona) car is best!

The car has had some recent work: fluids changed, some radiator hoses replaced, new front brakes and rotors, front bearings, etc. The car has aftermarket 'KMC' chrome wheels and new tires. It recently passed emissions with flying colors. It is ready to be driven anywhere. I have been driving it to work, reliably.

I know it is getting colder in the rest of the country, but it is just getting into convertible weather here in Arizona. Please feel free to fly in and drive the car home.

Flat out, this is a Gorgeous 1994 Original Mileage 62K Jaguar XJS Oyster (Champagne - exactly the color Princess Diana chose) Convertible.

This is car has been a faithful daily drive for me over the past 2 years, well loved and well taken care of. Work is less than 1 mile away, so not many miles have been accumulated. 1994 has to be one of the most reliable, trustworthy and beautiful Jaguar XJS's ever made. I have had a ton of work done to it: whole new AC system from compressor and AC drier/evaporator (it works great); new Bilstein shocks front and back - 6 in total which cost more than the original BOGE shocks and are far superior! ... the front and rear suspension have been totally rebuilt: new front brakes, new front rotors, new inner and outer bearings with re-pack, upper and lower ball joints and tie end rods, new trailing arm bushings, new rear suspension mounts, etc; ... NEW ALUMINUM Radiator! for those hot 100 plus days in AZ (car will never overheat!), all radiator hoses replaced, new Air Injection Pump, New belts, Fresh Tune Up- wires, plugs, distributor cap; New Injectors (didn't need them but upgraded them anyway), new AIC (air intake temperature sensor), new TPS (throttle position sensor), new Bosch coil, new battery, new Falken Sincera tires (in the correct 215/70/15 size!) etc. etc.

On the cosmetic side, the front bumper is in perfect condition (not split like most models), the PAINT is BRAND NEW!!!, and the interior is fantastic for being original (it has been very well kept and kept clean), as a plus... the car comes with 5 Dayton Wire Wheels - super rare and super expensive!!! In other words, it is an exceptional driver and well on it's way to a #1 showcar!

This model carried the famous (bullet-proof) 4.0L inline 6 cylinder engine, which was the last year that it came with a distributor. It developed 219hp and 281 lb/ft of torque, it routinely gets 24-26 mpg on the highway.

This car is in Exceptional Condition! It is also much less $$$ than some comparable, higher mileage cars (current dealers on ebay ask as much as $20K for similar mileage cars). This car is looking for someone who will take care of it and appreciate it. I will truly miss it. As it is a private sale: No additional fees or Sales TAX!

This car cost $59,900 when new. This car is a bargain at $13,500! DEFINITELY a collectible quality car! As a Jaguar enthusiast, the advice I would give is to never buy a rusty or salvage title Jaguar. If you know how they are designed and built, you want a solid, rust free AZ car.
