This 1995 Jaguar XJS 2+2 convertible was purchased new in December 1994 by the seller’s late father from A.C. Imports Inc. of Palatine, Illinois, and it now shows 51k miles. It has been parked since 2013, and received a replacement battery and front brake components in September 2025. The car is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Flamenco Red Mica over Cream Connolly leather. It was optioned with an Alpine six-disc CD changer and the Weather Package, which added front seat heating, an engine block heater, and heated headlight washers. Equipment further includes a limited-slip differential, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, and cruise control. This XJS convertible is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, 1994 purchase documents, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, one remote fob, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The car is finished in Flamenco Red Mica with bodyside molding and features a power-retractable beige soft top with a heated glass rear window as well as a Jaguar leaper hood ornament, heated side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. Blemishes include a crack in the driver’s outer taillight, scratches on the rear bumper cover, and rust bubbles on the leading edge of the passenger-side rocker panel.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with older Yokohama tires. A bulge is present in the front right tire. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, and the front brake calipers and pads were replaced in September 2025. The seller notes a “knocking sound” from the suspension when driving over bumps, stating that their mechanic relayed that the bushings need replacement.
The cabin features heated front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in Cream Connolly leather. Interior amenities include an Alpine six-disc CD changer, cruise control, Walnut trim, and central locking. The seller notes that the power-adjustable seats don’t function, and the air conditioning does not blow cold.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits on a tilt-adjustable column and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 51k miles.
The 4.0-liter inline-six features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced and the engine oil changed in September 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is present on the underside components.
The window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, and options as well as a total suggested retail price of $63,230.
