Ebay item 8/1/23

www.ebay.com/itm/155696891671

Opening bid $3,690, 0 bids, no reserve, 6 days left in auction, seller boundlys, 73k miles

Seller's description:

This classic beauty deserves a new home. She ran well when parked in 2019. Left her in New Mexico while we ran off for the coast. Needs tires and front wheel bearings. The muffler needs remounting, and there is a leaking gasket in the convertible pump, though it operates fine by hand. She's faded in the sun, and has some wear and tear, but her body is lovely and she has solid bones. Title is clear, and she's ready for someone to come sweep her off her feet.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
