This 1986 Jaguar XJS coupe is finished in red over biscuit leather and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a Koenig-Specials widebody kit, 15″ BBS wheels, a Nardi steering wheel, a trip computer, cruise control, automatic climate control, a Jaguar AM/FM cassette radio, and a glovebox-mounted Alpine CD changer. The car is reportedly one of thirteen Koenig-Specials XJS models. The seller purchased the car in 2017 after a reported 20-year period of storage. Subsequent work is said to have included repainting the body and replacing the tires, front seats, and battery. This Jaguar XJS is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is said to have been repainted in red during current ownership and features a Koenig-Specials widebody kit, body-colored mirrors, and a power antenna. The Koenig-Specials widebody kit features unique aero items including a hood scoop, front bumper with a lip, flared front fenders, molded doors, rear quarter panels with faux vents, roof and rear decklid spoilers, and rear bumper with quad outlet exhaust tips.

The 15″ three-piece BBS wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires measuring 235/60 up front and 295/50 out back. The car is equipped with fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features seating upholstered in biscuit leather with burled wood veneer accenting the dashboard and door trim panels. Equipment includes automatic climate control, a Jaguar AM/FM cassette radio, a glovebox-mounted Alpine CD changer, an onboard computer, cruise control, and power windows. The front seats are said to have been replaced under current ownership.

The Nardi wood steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque and features Lucas fuel injection. The battery is said to have been replaced during current ownership, and the seller notes some of the vacuum lines require replacement.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM-sourced three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
