This 1985 Jaguar XJS was first sold by Ladd Motors of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and it was recently acquired by the selling dealer from its reported second owner of five years and now shows under 28k miles. The car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over Biscuit leather. Additional features include powered windows, front fog lights, cruise control, a factory cassette stereo, and 15″ alloy wheels. Maintenance performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacement of the tires. This XJS is now offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The exterior is finished in black and features fog lights, sloping C-pillar buttresses, rear splash guards, power-adjustable mirrors with chrome caps, and dual exhaust outlets.

Factory 15” wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Cooper Cobra tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. Braking is managed by four-wheel discs.

Cabin finishes include Biscuit leather upholstery accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and interior trim as well as darker carpeting. A Jaguar AM/FM cassette stereo is retained in the center stack, and further amenities include cruise control, burl elm trim, powered windows, and automatic climate control, the latter of which does not blow cold air according to the selling dealer.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a telescoping steering column and frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges monitoring coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows under 28k miles, approximately 30 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 291 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A safety check, an oil change, and replacement of the hood struts was performed in preparation for the sale.

The window sticker shows delivery to Ladd Motoros, colors and equipment, and a total amount of $36,350. Jaguar sales materials, owner’s manuals and a service record are also included in the sale.
