Ebay item 2/12/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1989-Jaguar-XJS-XJS-2dr-Convertible/153374733638
Current bid: $1,000 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $14,990, seller plymouthmotorcars, 58k miles.
Seller's description:
A beautiful super low mileage Jaguar XJS convertible. The body, top, and interior are in excellent condition.
Runs and drives very smoothly. It has the factory top boot and bag, all tools and rare battery cover in the boot. Battery is new. Correct Pirelli P4000 tires are 75% or better, full synthetic oil change and full service just completed before storing this winter.
I looked for over a year before buying this car for my collection. I am a Jaguar/Land Rover lover.
Flaws: Being a 30 year old British car, there are a few things that aren’t perfect. The a/c blows cool, not cold. That might be normal for 70’s a/c technology. There are some oil leaks. As you may know, this was standard equipment on these cars even when new. Any person/dealer selling an XJS should disclose this. Most play ignorant online.
This Jag gets looks everywhere it goes. Absolutely timeless style. No accident/clean Carfax. Stored in a climate contolled warehouse on a Noco battery maintainer.
