This wonderful time warp example was originally supplied to a local gentleman by Jaguar Daimler dealer, Hartwell’s of Oxford, in August of 1989 finished in Signal Red with a Magnolia leather interior. Remarkably, it has remained with this family up until now and currently presents in exceptionally original condition thanks to their care storing the car respectfully and carefully in comfortable garaging.
It’s supplied with a comprehensive history file telling the story of its life, including the original service book with eight stamps from 971 miles to 9,686 miles (main dealer servicing continued as seen on invoices on file, 2014 at 10,098 miles, 2015 at 10,259 miles, 2017 at 10,525 miles, 2022 at 10,977 miles), maintenance and service invoices, the Jaguar Guarantee, insurance certificates, the original purchase invoice and its MOT history, all serving to confirm the indicated mileage of just under 11,600.
The meticulous accumulation of history with this car truly illustrates the conscientious manner in which it has been cherished. The next owner can learn and enjoy the car via its original Jaguar-supplied Stereo Radio owner's guide cassette tape, before storing this delightful XJ-S away under its original softshell indoor car cover. Rare with this low ownership and low mileage, this is a fine example of an appreciating Classic Jaguar.
