On eBay UK October 17, 2016. Car is in horrible condition. Listing says "Jaguar XJ-SC Cabriolet 3.6 manual 6 cyl 1987 for restoration w/private plate. This is a relatively rare model, with only around 1000 manufactured, and a great opportunity for restoration. The car has been standing for 7 years, having been taken off the road because the previous owner could no longer afford to keep it running. Engine starts and runs smoothly and gears select. The paintwork lacquer has separated from the base colour in many areas and the rear lower panels require repair. The interior also needs restoration. All documentation present, with previous MOT certificates and extensive service history notes. Mileage is just under 94,000. Unfortunately the keys have been mislaid - the previous owner is still looking for them, so they may or may not turn up. The private plate UAD 444 is included in the sale and can be removed and sold on if desired once the vehicle has a current MOT. Sold as seen, no guarantee given or implied. Viewing welcome LE3 area.".
