Photo was taken on May 04, 2014 at the Donington Historic Festival. Came to Weston Park 2012. Owner comment "I purchased this car in November of 1995. It is a 3.6 Manual Cabriolet and was registered as A 11O DW, but I was very fortunately able to retrieve its correct original registration number of E 894 PCL from the DVLA. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner, who had the rear seats fitted, must have almost have lived in the car as he covered 73,000 Miles in 4 years before selling it to a Mr. DW who only used it occasionally. When I got it, 85,000 miles were on the clock. Both of the previous owners had kept the car fully serviced. Since then it has reached 145,000 miles, some of which has been on show runs but mainly driving events, a lot of which have been in Europe, particularly to Historic Grand Prix meetings at Pau, Dijon, Spa, Ring, Zandvoort etc. The car is always gladly accepted into the’ Special Car ‘ parking areas and attracts a lot of interest, the silly symbols on the doors are good conversation starters with the locals. No major problems during our self service ownership, head gasket, new rear discs, pads, handbrake pads (drop the axle and do the lot) and new hood (ouch £ ) 2or 3 years ago. Top tip is to replace the steering rack bushings with polybushes. Steering response is very much improved for very little effort or outlay".
